Coaching and Learning to Change
I trained and worked as a career coach with KPMG Consulting in London in 1991, then in 2000 I trained as a Life Coach with the UK Coaching Academy, and as a business coach with Results Coaching, Australia. Later in 2006, I developed my skills as a Learning Coach with Leadership in Management in the USA.
I am interested in looking at different models for how we think, perceive the world around us, derive meaning and make decisions, and how we interact with others. In the light of this, in the 1990s I gained Practitioner certifications in the fields of Imagework, NLP and ACTAL (Applied Creativity Teaching and Learning) and in 2000 in Resonance Repatterning and 2006 in Action Reflection Learning.

Science and Theology
My early studies and career had started rather differently.
My undergraduate degree in 1976 was a B.Sc in Physiology – the science of how the body works. 1986-88 I studied for my MBA at London Business School to learn more about how business works!
In 1999 I started the Master of Divinity program at Harvard to examine the bigger picture and to ask the question how does it all work!!!! I was also at Harvard to work out how to influence business leaders to consider the spiritual dimensions of their work and their impact on their staff and the environment.

Carole also stands out in my mind as someone with phenomenal intuition and creativity …..
Christopher Bowers, 1992

“I learnt a great trick from Carole – the ability to see possibilities.”
Claire Harnett, 1992

“Carole Brown is an excellent coach and a coach of excellence”
Gabrielle Blackman-Sheppard, 2000

Carole is a top-notch visualizer!
Bonnie Hartley, 2001

“I first heard Carole Brown when she was speaking on ‘Thinking, Creativity & Communication’ at the London Business School this summer…… “
Andrew Vallance-Owen, 2001

“……Carole as you would expect is a very good listener, but more importantly she possesses a unique empathy and intuition.……”
Maurice O’Shea, 2001

” ….. I’ve established new ways of thinking, doing, and being as a result of all I have learned from Carole ……”
Adriana Dakin, 2006

“Part of the IBM Corporate Affairs ‘golden handshake leaving package’ in 1992 was coaching support from Carole Brown. This was a new and highly valued service. I deeply appreciated the many aspects of Carole’s knowledge, business experience and coaching skills. In particular her ability to listen at all levels, withhold her own view, help me focus with challenging questions and so assist me to integrate many disparate pieces of information. Her warmth, good humour and holistic support were greatly appreciated.
Carole also stands out in my mind as someone with phenomenal intuition and creativity, which she uses with utmost ease to help her clients think laterally and to create options for their new lives ahead.
She introduced me to the Herrmann profile which confirmed and validated my key areas of strength and helped me to focus on where and how to focus my energy. Her workshops on the creative brain, left/right thinking styles and visioning the future were inspirational and highly innovative.

Christopher Bowers, Managing Director, OmWeb Ltd, Surrey UK May 2001

“My experience with Carole was amazing. I felt truly transformed. Clare Hedin, San Francisco, California, USA – January 2016
